Join James Faupel (supervisor of ecological restoration) and Allison Azmy (horticulture coordinator) for a rare opportunity to tour the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center, a 39-acre study center managed by the Missouri Botanical Garden, but not open to the public. See their reconstructed prairies, restored bottomland woodlands, and newly redesigned native landscape beds, in the heart of a residential area during this outdoor walking tour.  Learn about how they use their site to work with local educators and conduct research in this hidden gem.

3:00 pm: Meet at Katie’s Katie’s Pizza and Pasta rear lot (9568 Manchester Rd. St. Louis, MO 63119)

3:15 pm: Depart for LREC

5:15 pm: Arrive back at Katie’s for drinks, eats and networking! (pay individually)
